The large tank above has 10 year old captive bred snapper swimming with groper, trumpeters and the biggest blue cod you've ever seen!

The octopus tanks are one of our favorite displays, letting you get close to this amazing animal ! If you're lucky you might even be able to shake hands with one of them! Our colourful red moki are always active, watching you from within their salt water home.

The "touch gently" tank is a major attraction, entrancing all ages with its amazing display of south coast marine animals. This is a great family experience for you and all of your friends!

Our interactive Touch Tank gives you "hands on" experience with some amazing species, some of which are explained below! Learn about Our Ocean at the Island Bay Marine Education Centre!
