OctoBus!
Catch any bus to Island Bay.Buses stop at the end of The Parade, take a short walk down Reef St and you will see the Bait House on the point.
If more people caught the bus or train and vehicle numbers on the road reduced, runoff during rainfall will have far less contaminants entering our drains which all lead to the sea! This has to be much better for our ocean!
Look out for the GO OctoBus!
On the 11th of December, 2008, Go Wellington launched the OctoBus in support of the Marine Education Centre and its programmes. The bus, in it's exciting new livery complete with intertwined octopus, will certainly provide an increased public awareness of the facility, the website and our Open Days! Many thanks to Go Wellington for their generous support.
and if your following the OctoBus and your behind it it looks like this. Very cool!!
There were some amazing body painted artists on hand for the launch!
Three marine marvels posing with trustee's Victor and Judy in front of the OctoBus!
